OKAHU is the Oklahoma City chapter of the Oklahoma State Association of Health Underwriters (OSAHU). Tulsa has a similar local chapter (TAHU). OKAHU, TAHU, and OSAHU are member chapters of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). NAHU’s headquarters are in Arlington, Virginia.

We are a professional organization of insurance agents, insurance company representatives and providers of healthcare who care about their clients enough to join together to protect the consumer by enhancing the professional growth of its members. NAHU represents nearly 20,000 professional health insurance agents and brokers who service the insurance needs of millions of Americans. History of OSAHU 

OSAHU filed the Articles of Incorporation on October 21, 1985. The three incorporators were Charles Potts, Frederick Orth and Robert Phillips. The Board of Directors consisted of: Kim Holland, Danita Watkins, Patricia Beck, Richard Carllson and Matt Dillon.


History of OKAHU 

Oklahoma City Association of Health Underwriters, Inc. filed the Articles of Incorporation on April 25, 1995. The initial meeting of the Directors was held on May 19, 1995. The Officers included Dwight Hyde President, Robert Palmer President Elect, Dan Oliver Vice President, Janice Hill Secretary, and Sue Ann Comby Treasurer.
